GUITAR STRINGS NAMES |
For remembering the strings names here's a beautiful line for you-
Every(E) beautiful(B) girl/guy(G) deserves(D) an(A) eye(E).
Now, guitar follows a series, which is - ABCDEFG..........ABCD(repeats again) and there is a gap of 1 fret between each chord. But, B,C and E,F doesn't have any fret gaps.
For remembering the fret names there are few symbols on some specific frets.which are-
Fret 3,7 and 12... contains two dotted symbols/markings and fret 5,9,15 contains one dotted symbol.
Guitar Series-
W- Whole Step, H - Half Step
There are few chords which are equivalent to each other. They are-
A# = Bb
C# = Db
D# = Eb
F# = Gb
G# = Ab
# - Sharp, b - Base
From going from left to right in this series, song's pitch will go high and in the same way, upon coming back it gets lower. We've learned that only A, C, D, F, G have its sharps and base chords. We have denoted the Sharpes as "#" and the base as "b".
Talking about pitch, A pitch defines in which note the song is. Or simple terms it's describing the frequency produced by an object. For understanding you can take the example like this - Opera Musics are made up of high pitch and we are talking in low pitches. It can be inferred by the intensity of sound produced by the music.
